Report an error or correction

If a rule, date, fee or practice answer here looks wrong, tell us through the contact page and include the page address, the sentence and your source. We read every report. We check it against the bar authority or NCBE publication that controls. If the page is wrong, we correct it. If it is right, we reply with our source. A serious error is taken down before we investigate.

What happens to a report

From your message to a fixed page

A single wrong fact often appears on more than one page, so a fix includes looking for the same fact elsewhere on the site, in a state page, a study plan or a practice answer, and correcting each place.

1

Record

We save your message, the page address and the date.

2

Verify

We check the current bar authority or NCBE source for the exam date in question.

3

Hold

If the error is serious, the affected item is taken down until it is checked.

4

Correct

We fix the page and every other page that repeats the fact.

5

Show the change

The page’s review date is updated so you can see when it was last checked.
