Score portability and NCBE fees
A notice to applicants states that the NextGen score earned in the CNMI is portable to other jurisdictions that accept NCBE bar scores. The Court has also issued a NextGen UBE Score Order, 2026-ADM-0006-RUL.
The Court's page lists the NCBE character and fitness fee categories: $275 if the first law degree is expected in more than a year, $395 if it is expected within a year and the applicant has not been authorized to practice, $550 for a U.S. first degree awarded more than a year ago or U.S.-only authorization, and $925 for a first law degree obtained outside the United States or any foreign authorization. Reduced supplemental fees apply if NCBE completed a report in the last four years: $250 if for a different jurisdiction, $120 if for the same jurisdiction, and $450 for a Category IV report prepared for any jurisdiction. The page says an assigned fee may be specified after the application is submitted.
Forms and reciprocity with Guam
The Court posts Forms A through H: a general application, an affidavit, an authorization and release, a request for a character and fitness report, an intern application, provisional admission, government attorney and special needs. It also posts a Guam Attorney Reciprocity Application with a $100 fee, and the MPRE is applied for through NCBE.
