BARBRI
BARBRI's 2027 pricing page listed Premium Bar Review with an original price of $2,999, and showed sale prices of $2,299 and $2,099 on the page. It listed Elite Bar Review at an original $3,999, shown at $3,299 and $3,099. Premium's listing included 1,000 or more NCBE-licensed MBE questions or NextGen question sets, simulated practice and add-on options such as 6-month course access, coach-led strategy sessions and Quimbee SideBar videos. Elite's listing described AdaptiBar, CriticalPass and Quimbee supplements as included upfront. The page separates a 2027 bar exam tab, a 2028 and later tab, and part-time, LLM and international options.
Themis
Themis's page listed 2027 exam prep tuition at $2,995 with a limited-time price of $1,895 paid in full, or $2,095 with $25 down. Access is four months: March to July for the July exam, and November to February for the February exam. Its list of features included a personalized study planner, unlimited essay grading with a closed-system AI grader plus attorney graders, more than 4,000 multiple-choice questions with an integrated UWorld MBE QBank, and digital flashcards. It listed a separate 10-month part-time course for international candidates and LLM students at $3,895 with limited-time reductions. The page states no commitment or contract is required for the $25 payment plan, and that payments must be made as specified to keep promotional prices.
UWorld MBE QBank
UWorld's page listed the February 2027 exam access at $449 through February 26, 2027, the July 2027 exam access at $449 from March 1, 2027 through July 31, 2027, and a July 2027 early prep option at $549 through July 31, 2027. Each listing included more than 1,900 MBE questions, including more than 1,150 licensed NCBE questions, one self-assessment, unlimited practice tests, customizable flashcards, a digital notebook and a mobile app.
AmeriBar
AmeriBar's home page listed courses from $118 per month or $1,299 and offered a free trial. It advertised a pass-or-money-back guarantee with stated limitations: the guarantee does not apply to the Streamlined Course, requires enrolling in a qualifying course (Complete or Personal) at least nine weeks before the exam, and requires sitting for the exam as an AmeriBar student within six months after receiving a JD from an ABA-accredited school and being unsuccessful on that administration. It also says you cannot postpone your enrollment to a later administration.
Critical Pass and JD Advising
Critical Pass listed MBE Cards at $180, UBE Cards at $295 and NextGen Cards at $295, each with free shipping and six months of digital access through the AdaptiBar platform. JD Advising listed 2026 MBE questions at $299.99 with Affirm financing available, and a bundle of MBE, MEE and MPT One-Sheets at $449.97 for a digital download.
The MPRE fee
NCBE's MPRE page says the fee for all 2026 and 2027 administrations is $185. Registration closes on the deadline before each administration, which NCBE lists as September 17, 2026, January 21, 2027, June 17, 2027 and September 21, 2027.
What a listed price does not tell you
A price does not tell you the refund terms, the exact access end date, whether writing feedback is unlimited in practice, or whether a guarantee applies to you.
